Rare 98th Squadron Photo - Royal Flying Corps

Here is a scan which had been hanging on my grandfathers wall showing what I believe to be the 98th Squadron which his father (2/LT Walter Scott Goffe) flew in.
A fantastic photo showing all the squadron, its believed this could have been taken before being deployed to France - or shortly after they arrived.

Stoke-on-Trent Spitfire

Visited the "Stoke Spitfire" today at the Potteries Museum, this was gifted to the city as the Spitfire's designer Reginald Mitchell was born and brought up in Stoke. Alongside the Spitfire is a cut down of its engine and machine guns. There was a small volunteer organisation present who are trying to raise money to get this fantastic machine refurbished, they are also planning a 1:1 scale cockpit flight simulator to be in the museum.
